Good Samaritan Returns Stolen Golf Cart to Kona Community Hospital
A security department golf cart stolen from Kona Community Hospital (KCH) in early June on was returned last week by Good Samaritan, Ken Koski.
The solar powered golf cart, which had just been returned to working condition by maintenance staff, was stolen from the hospital property on June 5th, and a police report was filed on June 6th.

Kona Hospital Auxiliary Awards $15,000 in Nursing Scholarships

KCH Employees Celebrate Fourth of July
Kona Community Hospital celebrated the Fourth of July by marching in the 19th annual Kailua-Kona Independence Day Parade. This year’s parade theme was “United As One.”
KCH employees, families, friends and Auxiliary members marched the distance from the Kekuaokalani Gym/Pool Complex to Coconut Grove Marketplace handing out trinkets and newly made ti-leaf leis to cheering parade watchers along the way.

December has been a busy and festive month at Kona Community Hospital.
Santa paid a visit to KCH on Friday, December 13 spreading cheer and candy canes throughout the facility. Employees and patients reacted with delight and surprise when they spotted the jolly, red-clad man. Click here to view Santa’s visit.
