This year, Kona Community Hospital, in partnership with The Food Basket, is holding a Thanksgiving Food Basket Drive to help support Kona families in need by providing items to make a Thanksgiving meal.
KCH, as well as Ali’i Health and West Hawaii Community Health Center, are open for public donation of non-perishable goods between November 1-15.
With this year’s mantra of “No one should go hungry for Thanksgiving,” KCH and The Food Basket are hoping to create 100 Thanksgiving Food Baskets, which will give Thanksgiving to 100 Kona families in need.
