Kona Community Hospital’s (KCH) annual Pumpkin Contest took place today, October 31 which had 21 participating departments; one of the most ever. Judging took place for six categories with winners below:
Staff even dressed up for the occasion such as the Ninjas of Kona Community Hospital’s Radiation Oncology Clinic. With over 400 employees, the annual event demonstrates the creativity and fun spirit that hospital employees have for All Hallow’s Eve. It improves employee morale by bringing units together and has become a popular tradition at the facility. Each year, the pumpkin creations are something that staff and others look forward to.
